Prayer Against Fear & Anxiety

This prayer against fear and anxiety may be used as a guide as you are led by the Holy Spirit to receive healing and deliverance. It includes guidelines for repenting for coming into agreement with fear and anxiety, for being led by your emotions, and for trying to over come sin in your own strength. It also includes professions of the truth to help you stand in faith on God's Word and promises.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

God, you are love and you are my righteousness. You have given me a sound mind.

By faith, I choose to believe that your Word is true.

Lord Jesus, I renounce panic, fear, anxiety, and a troubled heart.

I repent for agreeing with these feelings, rather than standing in the truth of your Word by faith.

I now come out of agreement with all panic, fear, anxiety, and troubled heart in Jesus's name.

I trust you, Lord. I believe your Word.

Father, I give my circumstances to you right now, in Jesus's name.

I thank you, Lord that I have the victory over them in you.

Lord, I choose to stop trying to overcome sin in my own strength.

I choose instead to abide in you, to rest in you, and to be led by your Spirit now.

I thank you for your heart, for the peace of God, and for the love of God.

I believe what your Word declares!

I am free from the power of sin and death because it is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me.

The life I now live, I live in Christ Jesus by faith.
